Optionally you can record sound from any sound input device that is supported and visible by PulseAudio.
Kazam Features

Please note that Kazam support and bug fixes will be available only for Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot and 12.04 Precise Pangolin. Older releases are here just for historical reasons, for those who might need them. Natty, Maverick and Lucid releases are unmaintaned and unsupported.
To install Kazam ScreenCaster on Ubuntu Open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:
For development builds, run these commands instead:
- sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kazam-team/stable-series
- sudo apt-get update
- sudo apt-get install kazam
for Previous Ubuntu Version install this version of Kazam:
- sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kazam-team/unstable-series
- sudo apt-get update
- sudo apt-get install kazam
